The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee said Dr. K.M. Munshi wanted to make sure that every young person of his times and of the future should imbibe and benefit from India's cultural and spiritual heritage. He described Munshiji as a true visionary, institution-builder and a great son of India.
The President was speaking on the occasion of Platinum Jubilee of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and 125th Birth Anniversary of Dr. K.M. Munshi at Mumbai today (December 30, 2012).
The President said movements such as Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan are the need of the day. The Bhavan has stood the test of time and been a beacon light guiding Indians and foreigners alike in their path to live a balanced and wholesome life. Munshiji's dream of promoting ethical and spiritual values in day to day life is successfully accomplished by the Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan.
On the occasion, Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan conferred its Honorary Membership to Smt. Kishori Amonkar, Smt. Ela Ramesh Bhat and Shri Narayana Murthy for their outstanding services to the people of country as well as the world

NATALIE ROUT

Natalie has been trained in classical Indian dance from the tender age of two. The first Indian classical dance style that Natalie experienced was Bharatnatyam and then she took up Kathak alongside it at the Bharitya Vidya Bhavan, Manchster, UK. She then

decided to specialize in Odissi under Padmashree Madhavi Mudgal. Thereafter she trained both in Bhubaneswar, India by Guru Ratikant Mohapatra and Guru Sujata

Mohapatra. She has given more than 150 solo dance performances internationally, and has mesmerised audiences with her grace and charm. Recently she has been invited

to perform at major dance festivals and venues not only in the UK but also in the USA and India. She is a recipient of numerous internation awards and accolades.
